Travelling more responsibly :
Sustainable and responsible eco-tourism is an initiative that involves setting up ecological and educational tourist circuits in preserved natural areas, in collaboration with our partners in the travel sector. This approach offers visitors the chance to discover the beauty and diversity of nature while minimising their impact on the environment. Eco-tourism activities can include ecological hikes, visits to natural sites, homestays, meetings with indigenous communities and workshops on biodiversity conservation.
Greeny is also committed to educating tourists about responsible practices through our well-trained partner Tour guides, such as reducing waste, protecting local flora and fauna, and supporting the sustainable development initiatives of host communities. We also encourage recycling by collecting our own plastic waste. By promoting tourism that respects the environment and benefits local populations, sustainable eco-tourism contributes to the preservation of fragile ecosystems while offering enriching experiences to travellers.
Participate in our other programmes :
Collecting and recycling waste
An initiative to collect and recycle our travel waste, such as plastics and other environmentally harmful materials, which we can then transform into handcrafted products.
Composting programme
This involves educating individuals and communities about the environmental benefits of composting, such as reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill, producing a nutrient-rich organic soil improver and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Tourist site cleaning programme
We mobilise for clean-up activities involving members and volunteers to remove waste and pollutants from natural ecosystems such as beaches, rivers, parks and forest areas.
