Urban Reforestation and Tree Planting Programme
We mobilise our partners to take part in urban reforestation programmes and support responsible associations in outlying areas.
Environmental education and community awareness
We aim to educate and raise public understanding of environmental issues and best practices for protecting nature.
Sustainable and responsible ecotourism practices
We promote tourism experiences that respect and preserve the natural and cultural environment, while bringing socio-economic benefits to local communities.
Tourist site cleaning programme
We mobilise for clean-up activities involving members and volunteers to remove waste and pollutants from natural ecosystems such as beaches, rivers, parks and forest areas.
Collecting and recycling waste
An initiative to collect and recycle our travel waste, such as plastics and other environmentally harmful materials, which we can then transform into handcrafted products.
Composting programme
This involves educating individuals and communities about the environmental benefits of composting, such as reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill, producing a nutrient-rich organic soil improver and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Green jobs training
We aim to establish a green jobs training programme for young people and adults interested in sustainable careers. In partnership with educational institutions and green businesses, Greeny will offer practical and theoretical courses.
Artistic and cultural projects
We will be working on an artistic and cultural programme designed to raise public interest in environmental protection or specific humanitarian issues through artistic expression. Working with local artists, schools and cultural institutions, the association will organise exhibitions.
Promoting sustainable agriculture
Greeny will launch a campaign to promote sustainable agriculture in the region. In partnership with local farmers, ecological agriculture experts and academic institutions, Greeny will be organising workshops, field demonstrations and training courses.
Support for local initiatives
Greeny actively supports local initiatives to protect and restore the environment in the region. In partnership with community groups, non-governmental organisations and local authorities.
