Let's turn our waste into resources :
The composting programme consists of promoting and facilitating the practice of composting organic waste.
This generally involves educating individuals and communities about the environmental benefits of composting, such as reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill, producing a nutrient-rich organic soil improver, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
It can also support the initiative by providing training in composting techniques, distributing composting equipment (such as compost bins or compost worms) and setting up community composting sites where people can bring their organic waste.
The composting programme aims to encourage sustainable waste management practices and help preserve the environment by promoting the reuse of organic resources.
