Let's get creative and recycle :
This activity will be an initiative to collect and recycle waste in the local community and in targeted areas. Working with local authorities, businesses and residents, Greeny organises regular clean-up days and awareness campaigns to encourage waste separation and pollution reduction.
Collection points are set up to collect recyclable waste such as plastic, glass and paper. The materials collected are then sorted, processed and recycled at partner recycling centres or reused in local creative projects.
This initiative aims to reduce the community’s ecological footprint while helping to preserve Madagascan culture and know-how by using resources responsibly.
Participate in our other programmes :
Composting programme
This involves educating individuals and communities about the environmental benefits of composting, such as reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill, producing a nutrient-rich organic soil improver and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Green jobs training
We aim to establish a green jobs training programme for young people and adults interested in sustainable careers. In partnership with educational institutions and green businesses, Greeny will offer practical and theoretical courses.
Artistic and cultural projects
We will be working on an artistic and cultural programme designed to raise public interest in environmental protection or specific humanitarian issues through artistic expression. Working with local artists, schools and cultural institutions, the association will organise exhibitions.
